About

our story

Snooty Patootie's storefront officially opened in 2012, where it started as a local home decor + gift shop belonging to Kay. Kay's daughter Hayley graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2017 with a degree in Chemistry but knew her heart had always belonged to fashion. She began to work alongside her mother in 2018 and opened October Ninety-Four which quickly became a large part of Snooty Patootie. Hayley took her clothes to Knoxville Fashion Week 2020, where she received praise + encouragement from models, designers, and the audience and decided that October Ninety-Four needed to have an online presence. As October Ninety-Four grew, it soon became apparent that the two stores needed to become one, and Snooty Patootie Boutique was born.

Kay is still following her passions as she owns and operates Snooty Patootie's second location, Snooty Patootie Home Decor (commonly known as the Snooty Patootie Stockroom around here). Check out our "Snooty Patootie Home Decor" tab to learn more about this location.

Located in the small town of Farragut in West Knoxville, Snooty Patootie Boutique strives to bring a trendy but unique collection of women’s and young contemporary brands to the working woman, stay at home mom, and fashion influencer at an affordable price. Offering a range of causal, every day pieces to beautiful statement pieces for the perfect girls night out, our shop is ever changing to embrace new trends + styles.

Hayley is a wife, small business owner and lover of all things fashion. Hayley’s signature style is bold, flirty, and most times casual; she loves a great Goodwill find and can typically be found in jeans and sneakers. She is passionate about her faith, family, friends, food, and the arts (even with her degree in Chemistry.. we love a well rounded sister).

“After I graduated college, I felt stuck in what I should do next. I interviewed for local jobs as a Chemist while working 2-3 other jobs in between - and then it was like God said it plain as day, I needed to work in fashion like I’d always dreamed! I love the fact that I get to work with my family, it truly never feels like work, just women following their passions and that is so inspiring. I couldn’t be more thrilled with all the love that has been poured over us through this journey + I am looking forward to the future. Thank you thank you to all that have supported us along the way. I am so proud to be a local, family, female-owned, small business.” Xoxo, Hayley
